Lunar Eclipse Edit

I stayed up through the entire lunar eclipse this time, reclined on a chair in a sleeping bag. My favorite part was the moment right as the light begins to come back from the edge.

To get the exposure right, I stacked three images together (one exposed for the brightest part of the moon, one exposed for the trees in the foreground, and one for the stars). After stacking, I carefully blended the moonlight using Pixelmator Pro for Mac.

The result is something close to what it felt like in the moment!
